If you take the time to survey your customer or visitors to your web site you will find out what it is that visitors want to see on your site. If your site is interesting and organized, then people are more likely to return and to tell their friends.

A survey will also tell you what improvements you can make on your site that will fit what the customer wants. You can also find out what people think of your prices as well has find out what non-related items customers are looking for.  You can find out where to market your product if you know where your potential customers are and if you offer a free e-zine, the questions on a survey will enlighten you on the type of article people would want to see.

If you word your questions right, you can also find out how your customer service can be improved and this will certainly help with customer complaints as well as better way to deal with problems. A survey can also tell you how to improve your ads so that they are easier to read or possibly not have a many banner ads.   A simple survey and really open your eyes to things that maybe you have not thought about.  Your customers are the best way to find better ways to do business
